A True Story

Helping Hands is composed of members coming from various Christian denominations, joined by their faith to the fundamental principles of the Holy Scriptures and God's love. Such an interdenominational union accepts in unity the following principles of faith:

  • We believe in the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) consisting of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 of the New Testament, as a superior and final authority of faith and life.

  • We believe in one eternal triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born from the Virgin Mary, and is God who took human form—perfect God and perfect man.

  • We believe that humans were created in the image of God, committed sin and suffered not only a natural death, but also a spiritual one, being separation from God, so that all human beings have been born with a sinful nature, and those who reach the age of moral accountability commit sin by thought, speech and actions.

  • We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Holy Scriptures, one substitutionary sacrifice for all people of all times, and that everyone who puts faith in Him is made righteous on the basis of His Blood poured on the Cross.

  • We believe in the resurrection of our Lord's crucified body, in His Ascension to Heaven, and that now He lives there and acts as High Priest and Defender for us.

  • We believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's imminent return to the earth.

  • We believe that everyone who received, by repentance and faith, Jesus Christ, is reborn through the Holy Spirit, and becomes God's child.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, and in the eternal blessedness of the saved and eternal punishment of the lost.
